When does the rental period start and end?

The rental period begins on the day of the first delivery attempt and ends 7 days later. Example: You receive the rental device on the first delivery attempt on a Tuesday and have booked a week. In this case, you must return the rental device to the post office no later than Tuesday of the following week.

Can I extend the rental period later?

Yes, you can simply keep the rental device for longer and we will bill you for the extension on a daily basis via an invoice that you will receive by email. Therefore, please check your email inbox and spam folder regularly after returning the device.

What do I need to pay attention to when the package arrives?

Please check the rented device for functionality and completeness immediately upon arrival. You should receive the rental device in the original box including accessories. If the device or other parts are damaged, please let us know immediately, preferably by email to: info@leihtronik.de

How does the return process work?

You will always receive a return slip from us, which you stick on the outside of the package. Then simply drop it off at the nearest post office. Please make sure to remove all barcodes and old shipping labels from the package before sticking the return slip on, otherwise the package could be misdirected.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No, we do not charge a deposit.

What happens if my device breaks?

We are liable for signs of wear and tear or damage during transport. You are responsible for the rental equipment during the rental period. Therefore, we must charge you for the repair or replacement if a defect occurs during the rental period through your own fault. Please clarify before renting whether your liability insurance also covers damage to rented items.

I forgot to return an accessory, what can I do?

That can happen. Please send the part immediately to FBF GmbH, Im Fruchtfeld 17, 77791 Berghaupten. Enclose a short letter with your name and address with the shipment so that we can identify it. If parts are missing, you will usually receive an email from us stating which parts are missing. If you do not return the parts within a week, we will have to invoice you for them. This also applies to original boxes or protective parts that protect the rental device from damage during transport.
